Dorm and home air can get really bad in the winter. With the windows all sealed up, hot recycled air mixes with all the contaminants from cleaning solutions and air fresheners to create a stuffy, polluted atmosphere.
But it doesn’t have to be that way this winter- NASA released a list of plants that improve indoor air quality. They made their choices by testing which kinds of plants purified or filtered the air best in their “BioHome”
Some of their choices include English Ivy and Weeping Fig.
